What are the different battery cell formats used in EVs?

Main cell formats are: Cylindrical cells (like 18650 or 2170) with good thermal management and high production volume; Pouch cells (flat, flexible) with high energy density and flexible packaging; and Prismatic cells (rectangular cans) with robust structure and easier assembly.
